Looking to upgrade your rear brakes? Already got the FHI 4 pots? Think it would be super sweet to run the FHI rear 2 pots? Looking for the easiest way to make this work?
You're gonna need to change a bunch of parts OR get some kind of adapter. Some kind of super sweet adapter that would allow for easy bolt up. Oh, and if you get an adapter you're gonna want it to be strong. I mean these are brakes we're talking about here. That means no screwing around. Period.
Well, after hearing the call Kartboy stepped up, and stepped up big time. He brought out these super sweet, mega strong FHI rear 2 pot adapters to allow for easy bolt up.
When working on these he asked himself this very important question - won't someone think of the children? Seems he actually was thinking of the children cause after running a full FEA (finite element analysis - it's one of those enginerding type things) he found that aluminum just wasn't gonna cut it. Instead he went with steel. Strong, hard, darn near indestructible steel.
Not content with just a strong bracket he went looking for hardware to include. You're gonna need hardware to bolt the sucker up otherwise it just makes a funny shaped paperweight. Remember how I mentioned there's no screwing around on brakes? Yeah, no screwing around on the hardware either. That's why you get a full hardware kit of grade 12.9 bolts.
We're talking some serious parts here. Steel brackets AND grade 12.9 hardware.
Bottom line you could say "the buck stops here," but your Subie will have stopped back there. WAAAAAY back there. You know that tiny little spec in the distance. Yeah, back there. Oh, and I guess you could give the change you saved to Godzilla. He's gonna need it for video games because he'll learn pretty quick that he ain't getting your FHI 2 pots, and he'll need something to do.
